Subject: A Territorial Principality..The Prince of Chicago
Content: Remember 1968? The Democrats were the party of the establishment. LBJ, with his plans for a great society, was president. Democrats were also in control of congress. Then came the 1968 Chicago Democratic convention that turned into a circus when a multitude of young people rioted and did everything they could to show their disapproval of the government's policies; foreign and domestic. The Democratic presidential candidate (Humphrey) lost the 1968 election. Now the world is a little older, but there is still an "establishment" that is considered to be incapable of doing anything right by a large number of people. Only this time the hated "establishment" consists mainly of Republicans. The Republican candidate lost the 2008 election to a man who started with a Chicago power base. Chicago is significant for many reasons; location, industry, population, demographics, etc. Chicago is also significant for spiritual reasons. Most notably,there is Oprah, Louis Farrakhan and Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Michael Phleger. All of these people either are, or have been, in the corner of a man who lives in the Chicago area; Barack Obama. The messages of Oprah, Louis, and Rev. Wright are not identical messages, but I think that these people are working toward a similar end product, whether they are aware of it or not. I also think that they are serving the same spiritual forces. I think that there is a "prince (or spirit) of Chicago", just like there was a "prince of Persia" (Daniel 10:13) who withstood a heavenly messenger sent to the prophet Daniel. The "prince of Persia" did not want Daniel to receive God's message 2500+ years ago. Call me ignorant and silly; I don't care. I think that there is a "prince of Chicago" who does not want the American people to receive the things that God has for us now.
