When God Isn't Enough
Posted On 03/10/2009 01:18:56 by caughtaway

I am sure some have seen the title and already are judging and saying that God is always enough, but before you respond, read what I have written.

We preach it, sing it, shout it from the mountains that God is enough. He has the ability to carry us, provide, deliver, heal, and provide all we need. While that is true, there are times when God is not enough.

Maybe to some I am having a pity party, but I am not alone in that.

I am going thru things right now that are crushin... Read More

A Blessing From God
Posted On 12/09/2008 00:22:55 by EcuadorMissions

Yesterday at the Talin church, I commented to Ana Lucia that I liked the shoes she was wearing. With her reaction, you'd have thought she was wearing Jimmy Choo's! Although all of the children here have stolen my heart, 9 year old Santiago has probably inspired me the most since my arrival. Santiago is a member of our Church in Puyupungo. He has been attending the Church for about four months now. For the first three months he walked the thirty minutes from his house to the Church all alone each service day, as none of his family or friends would come with him. Yet he never got discouraged, he just kept coming. Four weeks ago,... Read More

Ana Lucia
Posted On 11/04/2008 18:46:01 by EcuadorMissions

One of our Church members, Ana Lucia, planted a lovely garden out behind the Church in Talin. She has planted beans, pineapples and papachinas in the vegetable garden. She said she loves to work in the dirt with her hands. She also has numerous flowers planted around the Church because she loves to look at the beautiful flowers. Anytime you see Ana now, she always wears the biggest smile and is full of joy. In service, she is always the first one to stand and testify, or sing the loude... Read More
