Luke11:31...... and, behold a greater than Solomon is here.
Jesus made this statement! He said THIS about Himself , behold a greater than Solomon is here! Praise God! . Most of us may know Solomon in the Bible , what a wise King he was God gave him his wisdom, but when you compare the greatness of Christ to that of Solomon, the things that Solomon did was comparably small.
SOLOMON WAS THE SON OF A GREAT KING.
solomon's daddy, David killed a giant , slew a bear and a lion, ,
BUT BEHOLD A GREATER THAN SOLOMON IS HERE, NAMED JESUS!
JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!
Solomon's father reigned from an earthly throne of glory and fame. But Jesus' Father reigns from a throne of eternal glory, whose power and authority could not be matched by all the kings and power of earth combined!
Solomon reiged over the people with Great wisdom , and understanding the problems of his people, But Jesus knows the hearts and thought of men. Matt. 9:4 . And Jesus knowing their thoughts ....... .
Solomon wrote proverbs , had words of wisdom, but When Jesus speaks , the wind ceased ,! the Bible says about Jesus , never a man spake like this, .
Solomon built the temple,
BUT Jesus is Preparing a place for His children Jn14.
Solomon reigned as king ,but then he died,
But Jesus died for the ungodly, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!, And that is not it! ON THE 3RD DAY THE STONE WAS ROLLED AWAY! AND CHRIST SHOWED HIMSELF , HE IS THE RISEN SAVIOUR, ,
BEHOLD A GREATER THAN SOLOMON , THAT IS JESUS! ,
