Our Philosophy

• Apostolic Pentecostalism is not an individual preference or mere personal belief that should be relegated to one corner of a social networking site; rather it is a rapidly growing movement, dynamic and strong enough to demand its own unique Web community.
• The Pentecostal message is the last and only hope of our world.  The impact we make on our culture and society will be increased if we strengthen ourselves through unity, fellowship and encouragement.

Our Nature
It is important to understand the collective natures of the PZ staff, because when we exercise our Ban/Edi t/Delete/Censor rights as Administrators it will most likely be on this basis.

• Ministers are worthy of honor.  The world may have lost respect for the ministry, but PZ is our world and we make the rules.  This site is not the place vent your grievances with someone in spiritual authority, or spread gossip about your pastor's family.
• Organizations have value.  PZ is not sponsored by, representative of, or controlled by any specific religious group.  We are independent of any religious organization or denomination.  (While that works for a Website being administered  by a team of people spread across three continents, we do not believe that is a great model for building your ministry or personal walk with God.)  PZ is not a soapbox for you to denigrate church organizations or their leadership.  The Pentecostal churches of a generation or two ago that united together to form organized structures of governance for establishing doctrinal standards, training for new ministers and initiatives to spread the Gospel did a very wise thing.  Organizations serve the purpose of doing in the physical realm what PZ is doing in a virtual realm; providing opportunities for fellowship and strengthening of faith.
• We are protective of our members.  Unfortunately, the Internet has become a dangerous place for young people.  Some secular social-networking sites have earned a reputation for being a playground for predators.  And what is worse, the owners of those sites don't seem too concerned about it.  Our desire is that PZ be a place that is safe everyone that joins.  As a Pentecostal community, we do not anticipate many problems in this area.  But, should anyone ever slip in that has predatory intent, there will be no tolerance or leniency extended.  To be clear, such activity is not just grounds for account termination, but we will cooperate fully with law enforcement in assuring such acts are punished as criminal offences.
