It should really come as no suprose to the Church that this is occuring.  It is designed to break the confidence people have in God.  It is working, look at whats happening in the Church even today.

Please pray for your Church, your leadership, the leadership of your organizations, the leadership of your towns, states, and this country.

We need them to hear if not listen to the voice of the Lord.

I must disagree.  This is the "old" Mormon Church, and an abusive cult.....................not a "church" like we have and like other denominations.  Even the current Mormon church considers the FLDS to be a cult, like other breakoffs from the Mormon church such as like the cult that David Koresh was over.

Law enforcement has been after this cult for years.  Women have escaped from the FLDS with just the clothes on their backs, and fear for their lives.  Young boys have been dumped on the streets (called the "Lost Boys"......you can research this on the internet), because the older men feared that there wouldn't be enough Brides to go around, as they have to have at least 3 wives in order to make it to heaven.

I have read many, many stories on women who have escaped from this group, read about the "Lost Boys" who don't know how to adjust to the real world, with their poor education, and distrust of outsiders.  Some of these boys are as young as 10 or 11, and they are clogging up Children Services in Utah and surrounding states.

This is not because of conservative dress.  Look at the Amish or German Baptist (that live around my area).  Law enforcement are not after them..........in fact, they love them!  Less crime stats where these people live.

As I have mentioned, if you read any thing about these people, and the stories of the people that have escaped................it will scare you to death about what goes on.

Disagree if you wish sis.  The "Church" should see this kind of stuff coming.  It is predicted in the Word of God.

Revelations covers it, Paul even spoke of it entering one of the Churches he established.  So lets call it lik eit is.  If it could get in that Church back then we are not immune to it.   They still proclaim some sort of insight through a higher being they call God.  Never the less.

If we ar enot praying for our leadership then we are just asking for the enemy to come on in with an open door.

I will pray for my leaders.  Focus on The Church, and make sure that the portion the Lord has trusted me with is ready.

God Bless

Yes, I have to disagree. This is a case about child abuse.  If you read the news, one of the babies was born to an underage girl.  This is the problem.  The authorities are not making the people change their standards, this is about underage marriage, and abuse of children.

You may think that it is an attack against the church, but it is not.  Which is more important.................let a church abuse children because it carries holiness standards, or uncover the sin?

What did you think about the abuse of children reported in recent years in the Catholic Church?  Did you think that was appropriate that authorities were investigating it, or do you think that it should be left alone because it happened within the church ranks?

That is the question that I am asking.

Kinda rereading your posts Bro. G, and see the angle that you are coming from.  Yes, we need to pray for our leaders, I just felt that you felt that is all we should do, and not worry about the sin.

I guess that I had been criticized on this topic so much before, and been told that it is because of holiness standards that it was wrong for authorities to step in.  I was misreading you......I apologize.

Yes, sin will creep in if we don't pray.  But, who does the Mormon Church pray to?  They only think that Jesus was just a prophet or a good man.  They almost basically worship Joseph Smith and Bingham Young.  I don't like to point fingers at churches, but the Mormon church as a whole is not a "Christian" church.

Some how your missing a point in my post.

I see you re-read my post and got part of the point.  I do not care if they are mormon, catholic, muslim, or any other religious organization that doesnt teach truth. If they do not teach truth they are part of the world and lost.

However, if we think this thing can not sneak its way into the place we worship and praise then we are blind to the enemy and his ways.

Compromise is all over even those who call themselves the "Church" are in compromise.

Many have allowed past pain to control their forward thinking process and momentum.  the Word of God says "ALL THINGS PASS AWAY" and "ALL THINGS BECOME NEW".

Ok I am about to rock someone and its not my intention but please know I LOVE you all very much.  Depression, and Oppression does not belong in the Church.  The Children of God who are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven should not be depressed or oppressed.

The Power of the Holy Ghost filled Child of GOd is far greater than all the minions in N/A combined.

Its time that we remeber that moving forward takes focus, it takes purpose, it takes obedience.  A car has a huge windshild and a small rearview mirror.

The rearview mirror is not designed to drive from, but to peak back and see where you were to where you are.  To help align as you move forward.

If you have been hurt, get over it.  We all get hurt we all get over it.  If you dont your not going to make it.  Not being over being hurt is unforgiveness.

I am not sure why the Lord is leading me down this post in the fashion he is. Someone needs this.  Maybe its me, maybe its someone else, but whoever it is Jesus is trying to reach out to you because time is short.

If thos emen are not judged by 12 they will be judged by the One.  Justice will be served one day unless by grace they are saved.

God bless
