If Jesus could run for president of the USA, what changes would he make in the USA, our government,foreign policies, welfare, etc?

You have a sad point there.  He might not get elected.  But, if he did win and if he had to do things in Natural power, not God's power.  What changes would he try and impliment. 

I think he would start working on our welfare programs, and free stuff.  I believe God set it up for man to work, if man doesnt work, he doesnt eat.  There are many that cant work, that yes, need government help, but we all know there are a lot of people that just get free free free, keep having more kids, for more free.  Always have the hands out but not wanting to work. 

I think he might start cleaning up the prison system.  People do these awful crimes, go to jail, get tv, weight rooms, sports in jail, etc.  I think Jesus would ax that program.  These that had committed murders and killings would probably be hung. 

Lets see, he would expose the dirty crooked politicians.

I would have to agree w/Larry on this.  For one, Jesus cannot make people do anything they don't want to,

But, basically, Jesus would not run for politics.  He would be more interested in ministering to the homeless, the poor, the destitute, the sinners.........and would probably be working in the inner cities and Third World Countries.

Hey, I tried.  But I have to agree, your both right. 

Yes, it is sad, but even Jesus as the Messiah was not out for political power as the Jews thought their Messiah would bring peace and prosperity and a powerful kingdom to their nation.  That is one of the reasons why they wouldn't accept Jesus as their Messiah.

But, the U.S. govt. is built on checks and balances so that dictators can't control the country.  Our forefathers were really brilliant when drawing up the Constitution.  Sometimes, our govt, is really frustrating.....but, in reality, we are a very fortunate people.......especially, when we take a look at other govts. in other countries.
