I agree...............up to this point, I didn't know who to vote for. She has swayed me for now.

I believe that a lot of women voters who are 'on the fence' may be swayed to vote Republican in this election. Just a few months ago, this looked like a slam dunk for the Democrats. Looked like because Dubya was so hated, and because the Republicans had lost the House, that there was no way a Republican could win this election. I think that Palin added to the ticket gives McCain a really good chance. And now us true conservatives have a reason to vote for McCain. Condy and Palin in '16!

My reason of being on the fence was because of McCain's famous temper, even in the presence of ministers. And I also, thought of him as part of Washington's "Elite" who care more about themselves instead of the voters. To me, Palin (of course, a woman....lol), is a fresh face to Washington, alot of spunk, very anti-abortion, and of course (if this administration goes well) - a potential candidate against Hillary in the future. But, I must admit.........mainly the abortion issue, and not afraid to show her opinion. I was really hoping that Condelezza would run, or at least be VP, but Palin, I believe is pretty close. Any other VP than Palin, would have probably been the downfall of this election for the Republicans. Because, many like myself felt that Obama (conservative Democrat) vs. McCain (liberal Republican) were too similar except for a few issues.

I was just on MSNBC.com, reading a recent opinion article about how Hillary should now address the women voters, now since Palin is stealing the show. The article made me sick! As you all know that I am very opinionated (in fact, Palin is saying much of what I have been saying for a long time........maybe I should have ran for VP!lol), but the article was making it sound like that Hillary had the women voters' best interest at heart, and Palin doesn't know anything about women voters! Like women can't think for themselves without Hillary! How sickening! But, it goes to show you how the feminists are still backing the Clintons. I am so glad that Obama is the candidate for the Democrats, and McCain for the Republicans. I believe that it will be a fairer election, with people looking at the real issues at hand.

I find MSNBC reporting to be appalling, as I do all the networks really. Fox News seems to me to shwo both sides of the coin no matter what type of story. Political, or non political they seem to research the story and not bring you a blurb from it and build a bunch of hype and one side of it.

This article was an opinion, but, it was really pretty ignorant (or pushing the Clinton ticket) in my opinion. It would be interesting to see if this would be an opportunity for a future race between Hillary and Palin.

That is the agenda of most of our media in this country. They have been preaching for 50 years that it's time for women to be equal, to be successful, to be empowered. What they really mean is liberal women. Not strong, conservative women like Condy Rice or Sarah Palin. They're not the kind of women that they have been talking about. Just like Colin Powell and Clarence Thomas, and, and Condy! are not the kind of minorities that the elite want empowered.

I agree. We do have some great, strong women that would be great in the White House, such as Condi and Palin. But, I understand the liberal media and the feminist movement. Hillary is their choice. Someone who would make way in the abortion fight, gay marriages, etc. We have equal rights, even though the liberal media keeps saying that we women haven't pushed through the "glass ceiling". Many women have more choices than ever before. Some want to stay home and raise kids, but, others like me who like our careers. We have the right to vote, equal wages, equal healthcare, careers, etc. more than women have had 100 years ago. I could go more on minority issues..........but, I won't. No, America isn't perfect, but, it is the best country in the world. I am so grateful to be a citizen of this wonderful nation.
