Where does it talk about gluttony in the Bible? What is everyone's opinion about it?

it is not wrong to eat, but it is wrong to over eat,

does the Bible talk about it?

Deut. 21:20,  Proverbs 23:21

Matthew 21:20 , Luke 7:34,  but to eat food is not wrong, to over eat is when it is wrong,

ok,it says nothin about that in those verses,lol

the old testament is irrelevant.

The Old Testament is relevant!

If you throw out the Old you can not live the New.

Further reading would include those scriptures which Derick provided....it may not be litteral, but it sure does give the application. Remembering that God did not make Food bad, Man did when he chose to use it poorly.

The OT is a foreshadow of the NT.  If you lay them on top of each other they should mirror one another.

We are still bound and accountable to the principles of the OT.  THere is just no sacrifice needed as the price was already paid.  We can call on Grace and Mercy of God when we fail and no need to spill the blood of goats and such.  We are free in Jesus and not bound but we are accountable, if we ar echildren of the most high King to the rules he has established for his house.
