There is a new phenomen that is slowly coming into our churches called the "New Pentecost".................which is nothing but from the bowels of Hell.

I am speaking of which a "push" or "movement" to change the very landmarks that precious men of God put into the formation of the UPCI.

This is where small things are coming into the church..............especially with the women.  Cutting of the hair, wearing makeup, coloring the hair to different colors all with the mindset that it is OK for the women to do this to help their self-esteem and to please their husbands!!  More than that is ready to come in.  Nothing more than to change churches into the Charismatic movement.

I have actually been told this to my face by a licensed UPCI minister's wife.  I felt socked in the gut, and I am hearing and noticing a few churches that are moving this way.

Also, what has happened to Tongues and Interpretation in our churches??  When has N/A been preached about last??

"New Pentecost" is nothing more than "sin".  Satan will come in like an Angel of Light, and when it is all said and done.............many will be lost.

I am sickened..................and so are many others.

There is no "NEW PENTECOST".  This Church was birthed on the day of Pentecost and it remains yet today.

I believe there is a transition that occurs on our journey and we all arrive at a different time and place at each junction.  We must not push our junction point on others who may not be as far on the journey.

However, to have come to a place where we have reached this place and to go in reverse and do things we have recieved the revelation previously that these thigns are sin is an abomination and will indeed land us in the the pits of N/A for disobedience.

Im not going to get on cutting hair, makeup, or jewelry.  That happens to much and it carries people to places they may or may not be at yet and it hinders the growth of the saint.

I will say this, there is an expected behaviour the Lord expects form his children.  However, the first and foremost thing we must share is His love for us.

Lets be fishermen, catch them, compell them to come in, and allow God the change them, or clean them as we might say.  No one comes to the Lord clean.  We all needed cleaned at some point.  THank God for the Blood.

Take those churches on your heart SIs Claire and begin to pray for them to have strength against this foe.  Pray and bind the enemy that is coming against them.

We are living in the end times, the last days, and the enemy knows it as well.  He must take down all he can.  Only remember this, the enemy can not kill you.  If he could he would have done it before now.

Lord open the eyes of my heart Lord, Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you!!!

"New Pentecost" is coming under many names like the "Evolving Doctrine" and the "Emerging (Emergent) Church".

Unfortunately, it is creeping into some of our churches here in my state.  Completely changing the Apostolic Doctrine.

Pray for me and the many saints that are fleeing this doctrine as we speak.  The pyschological and emotional turmoil are taking a toll.  Right now, many of us are seaching for a church home.

Although I haven't heard it called any of the names you mentioned, I do know of what you speak.

It makes me saddened that so many Pentecostals are going away from "the fundamentals." It saddens me that they don't realize that to have a good self-esteem and to please their husbands, they must please God FIRST. Cutting hair, makeup, etc etc is superficial and portrays "fake" people. Only God can change the inside! Only God can make a person "real."

Your post is actually good timing. I just recently posted a blog about a burden I have for the youth of my church (including of other churches). Thank you!

Have a blessed day!

I say, let em go. God says, narrow is the way. The way I see it, he never wanted that many people to make it in the end. That's why he gave the "truth" to an elect few called the pentecostals about 70 years ago. It says in the Bible not cut your hair really plainly. I can't remember the verse but I know it's there. It says in the Bible not to wear makeup. I can't remember that one either but it's in there. It says in the Bible not to dye your hair. Same story for that one but no matter. It says not to be "charismatic" either. If people don't get all this then they need to wake up and start reading the Bible differently. If they confuse some of those things when they read them then they're absolutely wrong, and need to ask a scholar like Bro. Godwin or somebody that knows all about that stuff. Those non pentecostal scholars don't know what they're talking about. They need to spend some time in a pentecostal church with a real man of God.

Wow!  This has been a long time since I posted this.  The horrors of persecution, harrassment, and other things that I and others had to go through has been horrible over the past year along with division among families and friends.

I found out more about what I am speaking about.  Have you heard of the book, "The Purpose-Driven Church"?  That is what my church went through.  To become a "Purpose Driven" Church, you must throw out all standards, change the doctrine, and force out anyone in the church who will not go along with the program.

Sadly, the UPCI cannot force out any ministers who are determined to hold onto their licenses because of the loosely binding Articles of Faith.  This "Purpose-Driven Church" program is a New Aged doctrine that is threatening to divide the UPCI.

There is an ugly spirit behind this movement.
