How many times have we heard, "we need to leave iraq, there is just to many innocent men and women being killed for no reason" If it's not "for no reason" it's "for oil".

Personally I'm getting sick of the hypocrisy coming from the "left wing" liberals that constantly say things like this. Let me explain.

First off I have nothing but the utmost respect for those that have sacrificed all that they have in order to serve their country. If it wasn't for the brave men and women of the armed services I would not be typing this message in English, if i was typing it at all, it would most likly be in German. On a side note I once read something that said, "if your reading this thank a teacher, if your reading this in English thank a veteran." I beleive that statement speaks volumes for what the Armed Services is worth to this country we live in.

But moving on, Each and every American soldier that is in iraq at this very moment is there because they signed a dotted line. They did this knowing full well that the possibility of being stationed in a hostile area during wartime existed. And for the most part those that are there now are their because they signed up AFTER the conflict began.

Now on to the hypocrisy I spoke of earlier. We have left wing liberals that are screaming about 3000 soldiers being kill over the course of this war that has lasted 4 years. Let's even say 3 years to be a bit on the conservative side. So that means that in iraq an average of 2.7 soldiers a day die in iraq. Most likly its more around 2 soldiers a day.

These people don't care about the lose of life. They want to seem like they do by saying that the 3000 deaths are pointless but they really don't care.If they really did care about "life" they would be SCREAMING about the amount of abortions each year in this country alone.

I did a little bit of research and it's said that 40 million "legal" abortions have occurred since 1973 when abortion became "legal". Now taking that figure of 40 mill. we see that the average about of abortions each year since 73 in America is approximatly 1,212,121. Now take that number and divide it by 365 days per year and we get 3320 abortions PER DAY. Divide that number by 24 hours in the day and you get approx. 138 abortions PER HOUR. Divide that number by the number of minutes in an hour and you get 2.3 abortions PER MINUTE.

So let me ask the question WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE about life being lost when it comes to the 40 million aborted babies in our country? These babies that are murdered each and every minute do not have the same choice that the soldiers in iraq have. Like I said, these soldiers signed their name on the dotted line knowing full well that they could get called into active duty and be killed. But wheres the choice for the aborted baby? Why are these left wing liberals not outraged about the lost of life here. In actuallity they actually agree that these babies should be killed all because of the choice of the woman. Something I've never understood about "womans choice" is what if the baby being aborted was a female, wheres that "womans choice"?

Many will tell you that it's because a woman should not have to have a baby if she was raped or if it was an incestous relationship that got her pregnant, but I looked that up also. When reasons for abortions came up only 1% of all abortions was done because of these two reasons. The highest reason given by women when having an abortion was because they did not feel like they wanted the responsiblity of being a parent.

This next statement may make you sick to your stomach because I know it did with me. I once knew a woman that said that she was going to have an abortion because she did not want the tattoo that she had around her belly button to be ruined. These are some of the reasons that people justify "murdering" the unborn in our country. Not because of rape or incest but because they simple don't want the responsiblility or they don't want their figure damaged.

So let me ask again where is the outrage for lose of life from the left wing liberals when it comes to 40 million abortions happening. They seem to want to make everyone else think they care so much about life when it comes to 3000 soldiers that VOLUNTARILY offer their lives but don't seem to care one bit about 40 mill. lives being taken from the truly innocent, the unborn.

But if we started punnishing some of these people, it would help prevent people from killing each other..... These days, you gat a slap on the hang. Punnish some of these people, and others will think twice about killing&nbs p;someone... I don't mean to 
say that it'll stop murders completly, it won't. There's always someone that thinks 
he can out-think the police. I'm not exactly be happy about Capi tal Punnishment, 
in some cases, I think it is necessary. *shrug* Just some thoughts...

How can the two even be compared? With one you have a innocent baby that has done NOT ONE THING wrong. With the other you have a person that could look into your eyes with a gun pointed to your face and with no second thought pull the trigger and watch you face explode. I mean lets think about this for a moment, those that face capital punishment are not there because they stole a pack of gum from the local convinence store.

You seem to be lumping all or most Christians into the mix when you use the words "we are totally ok with murder in a different form" but I don't recall saying  anything about being "ok with murder" 
when it comes to capital punishment. In fact I sorta think that there should not be capital punishment because unlike another poster stated that it might detour others from killing i don't think that is the case at all. Murders happen everyday and each one of those that committe murder most likly think they can get away with it, they're not thinking "ok if i do this I cou ld find myself on death row". But even if they do have this thought cross their minds they decide to committe murder anyway which puts them into the spot that they are in. Their fault. Where is the fault of the baby?

All I'm saying here is that it is completly unreasonable to make the agruement that since a person is against  ;abortion 
then they should also be against capital punishment. The two are completly uncomparable when  ;it comes to the leadup of each death.

In the case of abortion and capital punshment, one is murder the other is punishment. Capital Punishment. Are you going to call God a "murderer" when people have to be put into the lake of fire? Probably not right, why? because those that receive that have to pay the penatly for the sins they have committed. 

That person that is being killed is not being killed because he/she did nothing. They wasn't just standing out in their yard and the police came out and picked them up and drove them down to the penitentiary and tossed them on death row. They are being punished for crimes they have committed. They are where they are because of their own actions.
