This country has fallen so far away from the design our founding

It was not intended to be so

*cough*
Actually, no, it hasn't. The founding fathers didn't have a religious view on what the country would wind up as. Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were White Supremacists. Jefferson even went so far as to tear parts of his personal Bible out just to make it to his liking. George Washington died of a cold that he received for sleeping around. And even Lincoln dabbled in the occult. And in reality, the Constitution was probably not meant to even last this long. Hence, why we, as a people, are permitted to rise up against the government and recreated it if we so choose.

The heads of our Governement should be God fearing people. I do not
hink the Church should be running this country nor the country running
the Church. However, there shoudl be God fearing people in those
offices.

Jesus never got involved in politics. Ever. Nor did His followers. And as such, neither should we. Too many "Christians" think we should turn this into "Jesus Land" and that's not going to happen. The Catholics tried it in Japan, and got slaughtered for it. Rightfully so, as well, seeing as they were basically just spitting in Jesus' face and telling him that they didn't want to accept what He said in John 18:36
"My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."

We need to wake up, we are being over run by our politcal silence.

And by opening our mouths and trying to force people into following our beliefs, we have become tyrannical. The message of Jesus should be taught in love and truth, in a non-political way. The way people are trying to "witness" nowadays is why we're pegged as insane, bigoted, and fanatical. We need to stop doing it. And just act as Jesus did.
