What do you personally think the steps of salvation are and prove them with verses that are in the correct context. Don't say, "John 3:16 says all we have to do is believe and then we're saved. YAY!" Because that verse is taken entirely out of context.

Mark 16:16...He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned.
The First thing we must do is believe.
Acts 2:38...Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be BAPTIZED every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF SINS and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST.
Acts 5:32...And we are witnesses of those things; and so also is the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Matthew 10:22 endureth to the end shall be saved.
Believe,get baptized, endure to the end.

The Holy Ghost was so that the gospel could be spread to people who don't speak the same language as those who received the Holy Ghost did.

They Prophesied in tongues to the nation of (Israel) to fulfill the prophesy of Isaiah and Joel, Isaiah 28:11, Acts 2:16, 17...
If the tongues, that were spoken on the day of Pentecost, would not have been understood by the devout men that were out of every nation, there would have been no edification unto God. There would have been no fulfillment of the prophesies of Joel, Isaiah, or of God. The prophesy that the word would FIRST BE PREACHED IN JERUSALEM and then would go into the whole world would not have taken place. The prophecy of Jesus stated the word would be preached unto all nations starting at Jerusalem. The devout Jews that were in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost carried the gospel back to all the nations that they were from. (Luke 24:47) And that REPENTANCE and REMISSION OF SINS should BE PREACHED in HIS NAME AMONG ALL NATIONS, BEGINNING at JERUSALEM.
(Rom 10:18) But I say, HAVE THEY NOT HEARD? Yes verily, THEIR SOUND WENT INTO ALL THE EARTH, and THEIR WORDS UNTO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD. The witness of Jesus Christ went unto the ends of the world through the prophesy in other tongues on the day of Pentecost.

I do. I know the answers to all my questions but I'm just trying to give people a chance to know what the baptists and the such will throw at them. So many people just believe because 'my pastor says so' or 'thats what my mom has always taught me'. However, when faced with someone who knows their false doctrine too many pentecostals don't know how to answer their questions. Making both the pentecostal and their religion look foolish.

Well then why dont you put something down like the Baptist believe we are saved because of Romans 10:13..For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Then we can reply with. Well, how do you call on the name of the Lord? If you zoom over to Acts 22:16 it tells you how.
Acts 22:16...And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Notice that word? Should not perish. Does not say WILL, or WON'T it says should. Meaning if you bvelieve him you will do what it takes to not perish. the ability has been given all you have to do is read his word and follow his teachings, be obedient to his word and you will be saved if you TRULY believe you will follow his voice.
Steps to salvation:
Repentance
Baptism in Jesus name
Infilling with the Holy Ghost
There is no other way. Belief is not enough. the devils believe in God and tremble at his name, yet they will not be in the Kingdom of God.
John 3:5-6
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
