The scriptures tell us that the kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. Being a saint in the city of San Francisco that verse of scripture is exactly what Abounding Grace Pentacostal Church of S.F. intends to do.

            As of November 1, 2006 Pastor Mark Morgine(America on Fire Crusade, Azusa St. Anniversary Revival) has given me, Jared Atkinson, and church song leader Justin Houg the permission to put together the U.P.C's first Christian/ Metal/ Experimental band. I've been granted the position of the bands lead vocalist, as well as the job of finding the rest of the musicians that will make up the rest of the groups members.  Our goal for this ministry is simple: to reach out to the youth of San Franciscothrough a style of music that'll give us the ability to minister is place that normal outreach isn't capable of going.

            We understand that what we attempt is highly controversial with in the organization, but we are willing to take that risk for the sake of saving the lost. All applicants must be able to play one of the following instruments:

-Electric Bass

-Drums (with double-bass peddle)

-Electric Guitar

-Synthesizer/ drum-machines

            We will chose members based on quality of performance, which means, to all you ladies out there who are sick of being told girls can't rock out as good as boys, we aren't going to turn any one away based on race or gender. So, if you're a girl that can shred better then any guy, or have always wanted to play drums for a Christian Metal band, don't hesitate to send in your Resume. This ministry needs people in order to accomplish anything, and me and Justin can't do it on our own.

All applicants need to meet the following requirements in order to be considered for selection:

1.)    Must be filled with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues, baptized in Jesus name, and living a Godly life style according to the apostolic doctrine of the UPC.

2.)    Applicants must be able to play there instruments on stage proficiently!

3.)    Must be able to show up on time for practice and shows on a consistent basis.

4.)    All those selected to be in the band will be required to commit themselves to the bands endeavors. (No flaking out at the lat minute.)
