now I agree too. The greedy lured Americans into buying more than they could afford. The goernment encourage preditory lending in the long run, by allowing people that could not afford a house to purchase a home. The lenders said great. We will sit back and wait till they fail. The we will take back the house.

I heard a man describe the kind of loans they were and it was amazingly funny to me. They were Ninja loans
No Income No Job Assets
Why in the name of all thats righ would you lopan money to someoen with no job or income?
Every home loan I have gotten I had to fight and bite to get it. Jump through crazy hoops and bites my nails until the closing day.
Anyway, they should have allowed them to just go bankrupt and not do this 700 billion bail out bill. We are doing the very thing we are bailing out. The Governemtn is setting a bad example. Look if your in debt the answer is not borrow more money.
*sigh* its really to bad
I am so glad Jesus is still on the throne!

I am so sick, as I just heard that we are bailing out these banks. It is just putting a band-aid on the situation. These politicians were trying to persuade the people that if we didn't bail out these companies, that we would go into a severe recession. Duh! We are already in one!!! Well, Taxpayers are going to have to pay for this. You can't trust politicians.

Yes, it will get worse, as now taxpayers are going to have to face the deficit that their public servants have built. I keep hearing rumors that accountants may have to start going by international accounting laws because of this. Even though I have been hearing this for awhile now, this may be the breaking point.

That is true. The Bible promises that we will never go hungry, always have shelter, and clothing. God knows where we are, and will supply our needs. I am not worried at all. My Heavenly father owns everything....and He treats us very well.

It will take a couple of years but our enconomy will rebound, we will get past this bleak time, history has shown that the markets will rebound with time.
Things usually have to come to a head or hit rock bttom before a change can begin, I think our economy had to, be fixed, from the bottom up. It is time for some rule changes, Time for some greedy people running the show to get a big boot

I agree. There are still too many loop holes in the accounting laws, for con men to take advantage of. I am sorry, but, anyone who takes millions of dollars of buyouts, while letting their workers suffer, is a "con man".
