Judges 6:13 "if" the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? ....but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

SO Gideon had the same question. "If Gods with me then why are my sisters taken captive, and my brothers slain, and my country in ruins! I mean - if God is with me, i wonder what it woudl be like if he wasnt!!" (im adding this for you melencholies who are like "where is that verse lol)

And so many of us ask God the same question right? "If your with me then why am i so hurt, why is there war, why!"

So the angel gives him the Answer - but its not waht i was expecting.

Judges 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites

.....THATS YOUR ANSWER? ......??? If we believe that the bible is the word of God and go by what it says, then sometimes we gotta think about what it DOESNT say and it DOESNT say WHY!

i can see Gideon's face like ..."that doesnt explain why!!?" but it does!

God had to make a great choice to give us free will knowing that he woudl be unleashing unspeakable evil but also - unspeakable Joy.

Heres the Answer: God doesnt give us a great reason Why, but he gives us a commandment to answer that question. and that commandment is GO! The problem is us, but the Answer is US

Q: "WHY ARE THERE STARVING CHILDREN?"
A: "GO! AND FEED THEM"

Q: "WHY ARE PEOPLE GETTING SICK AND DIEING"
A: "GO AND PRAY FOR THEM!"

Whats the answer to the evil in the world? We are

iTS TIME FOR US TO OBEY GOD AND GO OUT! People are dying and decaying from the evil of this world, that is why God has us in his Power to GO and do somethign about it.

We ask this question wondering the answer when the answer is US.

If there was no evil would there be a need for Prayer? If there was no sickness would there be a need for healing? If there was no need would there be Faith?

It is not caused by God only allowed. Everyday there is an opportunity for you to release your faith and let it return enlarged. Events occur to call, for miracles, for conviction, for faith enlargement.

A body builder begins with some muscles and fat on his body. He then begins exercising his muscle in order to cause it to grow. He actually works the muscle by tearing it down through use. As the muscle rests it begins the healing process. Acids hit the muscle and cause it to grow back stronger to prevent it being weakened so easily next time. He continues this regiment until he has attained the desired look, size, and proporiton of this muscle.

Each man is born with a measure of faith: &nb sp; &nb sp; Rom 12:3

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Each storm we encounter has been allowed because it is time to work our faith muscle. If we work the muscle then it will be stronger. If we do not it loses strength. I get excited when in I come against adversity. It lets me know that God has faith in me. He will never allow us to be placed into a situaiton that we can not win if we depend on him. I Love making my father proud as I begin to praise him in the storm, for the storm.

You guys pray for my knee. I jsut got back form Kentucky (was at their wintrer conference) and i tore a muscle in my knee and cant really stand or sit without being in pain (yea im in pain now) but i know the prayers of the righteous prevaileth much! ^_^

Amen!! this is good stuff. I love it. You know, there are alot of people who say "luckily" there is nothing "lucky" about it. It was God, and give Him the recognition. I am careful what I say, cause if I say luckily, then where is God in it?. You know? Come on people. WE need to give God the Glory! The rain falls on the just and the unjust. Praise God for it.

Wow, Amen and well said on all of this.

I have found that the trial I have endured, gives me the ability to help someone else. If I have never experienced something, how can I possibly understand someone else or what they are experiencing. My trials have strengthened me and i strenghtening me, God brings people into my path that I can help them.

The perfect World ended there. It will be so until His Kingdom is once more established on this Earth.
